One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The series focuses on Monkey D. Luffy, a young man made of rubber, whom, inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks, sets off on a journey from the East Blue Sea to find the fabled One Piece treasure and become King of the Pirates. Luffy gathers a diverse crew that includes pirates from all different backgrounds such as swordsman Roronoa Zoro and thief Nami.
